Kalanchoe laciniata (Akkapana)
Kalanchoe pinnata (Akkapana), formerly known as Bryophyllum pinnatum, also known as the air plant, cathedral bells, life plant, miracle leaf, and Goethe plant is a succulent plant native to Madagascar, which is a popular houseplant and has become naturalized in tropical and subtropical areas. Akkapana is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine as a remedy for urinary stones. However, Akkapana leaves are used as a medicine for many ailments. That is, Akkapana plant contains a number of nutrients such as sulphate, oxalate, calcium, potassium etc. Also, according to Ayurveda, it tastes like decoction and acid. It is said that by virtue of being short and rough, the result is sweetness and coolness by effort. Therefore, Akkapana plant is used to cure various diseases. That is, in addition to the use of medicines, the consumption of Akkapana leaves prepared as a sambol can also cure these diseases.

Medicinal properties of Akkapana plant:
- Relieves back pain.
