Long War, Cold Peace : Conflict and Crisis in Sri Lanka

This work examines conflict and crisis in Sri Lanka through the perspective of Dayan Jayatilleka, a seasoned diplomat and scholar who served as Sri Lanka's Ambassador to France, Portugal, and Spain, as well as Permanent Delegate to UNESCO until 2013. Drawing on his extensive experience in international relations—including roles as UN Permanent Representative in Geneva and Vice-President of the UN Human Rights Council—Jayatilleka offers an informed analysis of the nation's complex political landscape and international standing.
